Doesn't happen to me 

Playing Black Powder based ACW game last night and Sherman's brigade tries to advance but rolls an 12 and blunders - retreat two moves. Next turn the C in C (McClelland) joins the brigade to ensure that they advance, but instead they roll another 12. The attached C in C allows us to do a re-roll - only an 11 so they can't advance - opps 

The C in C just rolled his eyes
