I meant the model versions - I know the Wiki pages for the real thing.

Thanks Pierre - I think I must have 1:200. Trouble is I can't remember where I bought them from.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Perhaps from Pendraken?

Started putting decals on some German 1/300th stuff over Easter that I have finished painting. I'm using the Scale Specialties sheets that Leon sells. With a bit of Microsol to bind them they conform really well to the shape of the models and look good.

I'm keeping most of my 1/300th stuff fairly generic by only using national markings etc, though the Luftwaffe are getting fuselage codes since the Scale Specialties sheets come with them as part of the fuselage markings. Not using German tail markings out of choice.

I'll take some pics eventually but apparently have a couple of bat reps to write first....

Must have had a visit from the colour gremlins today.....painted up 70/71 green camo on 4 Ju 88's last night but the dark green has dried a very light green instead...(yes I did stir the paint first!!) so into a ice cream container with some simple green to strip them off and start again  :(

Then tried to print off an upcoming scenario and dispite a new cyan ink cartridge anything blue has turned to 50 shades of orange....time for a new printer?...my old Epson inkjet is a good 10 years old and I can't get the official Epson cartridges for it anymore so I got a third party one, which is probably the problem, though I've used them sucessfully in the past  :-\

Messing around with bases for the 1/300th stuff....my plan was to use mini magnets but trying to get them to seat properly and add an opposite polarity one to the Litko peg topper was just too hard, so I came up with a compromise using a small wedge of blutac. I have finished all the necessary aircraft that I need now too (painting He 111 cockpit framing thinly enough to look convincing requires a steady hand....and sometimes more than one attempt X_X ).

The larger 2 and 4 engined bombers are quite stable on the 40mm hex stands with a 70mm high flight rod and I will just add a height marker to remind me what altitude each stand is at.

The rules I'm using are pretty basic so I'm happy with the overall look. I got a new A3 capable printer so I can now finally produce the markers and maps needed for my first foray in this genre.
