Welcome to the latest Pendraken newsletter!

We're still recovering from the mania of Salute but we've got a few new releases and loads of previews for you this month!




10mm Monmouth Rebellion range released!

We've got a little surprise release for you this month, with some extra 17th century figures for the Monmouth Rebellion.  One of our sculptors had made these for a personal project so we've put them into production moulds in case anyone else wants them too.  You can use codes from our League of Augsburg range as well, for things like command or artillery.

Future War Commander 2 Update!

Some of you may have seen that we didn't have our new rules read for launch at Salute earlier this month.  We'd sent the document over to the editor back in October and despite updates that progress was being made, he informed us last month that the rules wouldn't be ready in time for our launch.

We did spend a few weeks trying to come up with an alternative option, a kind of 'soft' launch instead, but the timescales were just too tight by that point and anything we did would be compromising in some way.  We want this new book to be the best we can make it, so we didn't want to have to cut any corners to try and rush it through.

The good news is that the rules will definitely be released this year and we can use this extra time to make sure that we get it right.  We're also looking at options like Kickstarter, to maximise the visibility of the launch and allow us to get a whole load of extra ranges into production quickly.




New 12mm Fantasy previews!

We've been working with a new sculptor for a little while now and he's been churning out all sorts of fun stuff.  First up we've got a little batch of Fantasy items, including Yetis, Golems and some Plagued Villagers.  He's also made some little campfires too.

10mm Urban Scenery coming soon!

We've also had some handy Urban Scenery items made by the new sculptor, including all manner of useful items for anything 20th C. and beyond.  We've got sheds, skips, phone boxes, traffic lights, road signs, plinths, dog kennels, bins, and even a speed camera!

Some of these are going to be interesting to mould, with a lot of thin wire sections, so we'll take some time with them and make sure they're going to be OK.






New 10mm Robots Previewed!

To go with our current Sci-Fi expansion, our new sculptor has put together this eclectic mix of Robots to serve as both military/guard and service/maintenance types.  We'll split them down into sets and get them moulded asap.

As with some of the urban scenery, some of these are going to be tricky to mould so we may need to thicken some of the wire legs on them.

There's a few boxes/crates at the front too, for the service droids to carry about.




Salute 52!

This year's Salute was a massive affair with nearly 7500 visitors through the door, a new record for the event.  Sales were brisk all day and it was great to meet up with both familiar faces and new customers, so thanks to everyone who came to our stand during the day.

We're frantically restocking everything ready for the Carronade show in Falkirk next weekend (Sat 3rd), and then we'll be at Partizan in Newark on Sun 18th as well.  There's still chance to pre-order for both of those events, but please make sure to get them in asap!
