>>I was thinking of something similar to the stream sections in this picture:>>

I've found something which does involve some DIY but the results are ex-streamly effective:

DIY Rivers (from Grymauch's Solo Wargaming Blog)

One of those projects that can result in a lifetimes worth of river sections in one go, which are relatively easy to achieve (honest !!) and which are hard wearing.

Well worth having a go.

I've done something similar to that - but the results were underwhelming. Perhaps I need to add banks to mine.

QuoteNew Resin Room
We're going to start bringing our resin production in-house this year, to avoid some of the delays and stocking issues that we've seen on our resin products.  This will also allow us to expand some of those ranges a lot quicker too, getting more items online and available for folks.

Hi, does this mean that the really cool, ace, and rather good Castle Arts samurai castle will go into production?

Thank you in anticipation

It will do yep, although that might be a job for next year once we've got ourselves up to speed with the resin casting process.

Banks really are the secret to making the river look right.

They come with a drawback through.
Most of us play on flat tables where the banks will be raised above the surrounding countryside.
Great, if you're playing in the Western Netherlands or East Anglia, otherwise it's something we gamers learn to ignore.
