As far as I understand it, Both husband and wife should submit to each other - eg you both look after each others best interests. If your doing that its impossible for either party to be controlling or dictatorial.

So in answer to the question Yes, but only if the husband is submitting to his wife.

Problem: My shirt needs Ironing (Pink Job) as I have a meeting tomorrow at work. 

There are three solutions to the problem.

Solution 1 :- I ask Mrs Orcs to Iron my shirt -
Solution 2 :- I choose to wear another shirt.
Solution 3 : I Iron the shirt as I can see my wife is tired.
   
Solution 1
This is incorrect as while my wife has submitted to me, I have not put her need for rest before my need for a shirt.
 
Solution 2
This is also incorrect,  as I am still leaving my tired wife with the shirt to iron tomorrow. That is not in her best interests.

Solution 3

This is the correct response, I have submitted to my wife by allowing her to rest while taking away the chore of ironing the shirt thus looking after her best interests.
