Finally painted the pack of bullocks that Pendraken claim to be cows, together with some sheep, pack horses and a couple of carts to add something to 30YW/ECW battlefields.

Excellent.

You can never have a big enough supply element.

Nice work and always good to have animals to dress the table or be part of a supply train etc :) .

I can remember seeing a very nicely presented 28mm English Civil War display game at one of the shows in recent years which had a base with a flock of sheep. As the action moved about the table, so the sheep moved from spot to spot.  Each time I returned to see how the game was developing, I noticed that the sheep were in a new location.
Often been tempted to paint my own flock.  :)

I think that was a Simon Miller FK&P game, possibly my scenario for the Battle of Soggy Bottom!

You could try the idea out with bits of fluffy pipe cleaner, and then upgrade if you like them.

I've always liked that about your tables: random flocks of sheep, or herds of pigs or cattle meandering around  8)

Apart from that time my daughter stampeded them straight into my general at Colours all those years ago...  >:(

Lovely work Keraunos.

I've got about 20 stands of 10mm sheep and 10 of 10mm cattle that appear regularly in our War of the 3 Kingdoms games as scenic extras.

Ducks back below the parapet before the enevitable sheep jokes start flying.... ;)
