Yes, our farrier has been getting to know four different giraffes....Apparently the smallest one has picked things up really quickly, and picks its feet up without David even prompting it. 

Apparently the elephant was equally obliging, though the farrier had to submit to a pat down with the trunk to ensure that he wasn't carrying any edible "contraband" that should be surrendered to the relevant pachyderm authority

I can more than believe that, Mike. I'm sure I've heard that hefferlumps are pretty easy to train..especially if they're treated with kindness.
