Hello everyone,
I'm passionate about the history of my country, Belgium.  It happens to be the crossroads of many European wars...

I'm discovering miniature wargaming, and the possibilities with 10mm miniatures are great.  I plan to start with a battle very close to home, the Ardennes!

I guess that question proves your point about Belgium being the crossroads of many European wars!

I too look forward to seeing what you come up with.

The forum is, in the main, helpful and knowledgeable so feel free to ask for advice, help or inspiration but be aware that thread derailment here is pretty much a given. Belgium, the Cockpit of Europe. (More in the blood sport than the pilot sense, regrettably.)

Welcome, and good luck with the project. There are a lot of very, very clever people on here who will be glad to help with ... well everything. History, painting, scenery, what size spanner you need for a Tiger II on a Tuesday ... this lot know it all.

Welcome! And thank you for hosting so many interesting events in your lovely country for us wargamers. Plenty of good games to be had from the Ardennes in 1940 and 1944, for sure. Not to mention a notorious scuffle in 1815.

Personally, as a 19th-century big battles guy, the battle of Hasselt in 1831 is on my to-do list.
