Yes Happy Christmas one and all and to Leon and his awesome team.
Thanks to them, my Christmas arrived this morning.    AWI Americans, Hessians and bases including some I ordered on the 16th.    This range is superbly sculpted and cast.      I was staring at AWG9 Hessian command for about 15 minutes.

Email Thursday 0502hrs – Your parcel from Pendraken will be delivered on Friday between 1013a.m and 1413p.m. – reassuringly precise (although why we can't use the 24hr clock is beyond me).

Email Friday0802hrs – Your parcel from Pendraken will be delivered today by 7.30p.m. Not so precise.

No delivery.

Tracking notice says arrived in local office 0749hrs Friday, due for delivery that day.

Email Saturday 1402hrs (odd they are always '02' – almost makes one a tad suspicious this 'precision') Your parcel from Pendraken will be delivered today before 7.30p.m.

Email Saturday 1553hrs (nice change from '2') We were unable to deliver your parcel from Pendraken. We will attempt to deliver it the next working day.

Tracking page says – 1552hrs (that's more like it!) Delivery attempted – address inaccessible.

Lying *****! I was in the house at that time. There was someone in and alert and awake all day, the house is fully accessible. I drove past the delivery office in the morning – no road closures, no access problems. We had three deliveries from other companies who managed not to be savaged by Gryphons, Manticores or passing feral woodlice so I am unsure apart from terminal indolence why the place was 'inaccessible'. Let's face it they didn't bother.

I'm not even too concerned about not having it. It will wait until whenever they get around to delivering (assuming they do of course). But all the fol de rol of modern fetishised 'customer care' and then lying about it really does tee me off a tad.
