Is there a way to stop some things, and only selected ones, showing up in "unread posts".

For instance the "used javelins" thread is of no interest to me, is there a way it won't show up?
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was an AI capable of reading our minds and knowing exactly what we were, and were not, intertested in?

Then again, perhaps not!

I think so, in the blue buttons to the top right / bottom right, if you click the 'No Alerts or Emails' option you should be able to choose 'Not Following' instead.

Let us know which threads you're not following and we'll know where we can talk about you...!  :D

The fact I can hear doesn't usually stop people...

I've tried blocking this one. Some please post, and see what happens.

Cheers

I have a horrible feeling I'm being made a mug of here - posting something to someone who can't (?probably) see it - so how will you know I've posted it if it works?
Oh well - here goes. :)

I think you are confusing the meaning of "see" and "understand"! ;D

Last Hussar

I can still see you all here...

Unfortunately.

I marked this as "not following" (button on top right of thread), but it still shows on my "unread" list.

I'm not quite sure why that's not working?  I'll set it to unfollowing myself and see if it's broken here too.
