Hard to resist as is becoming usual.
Are they likely to be produced before Leon is forced into the 2024 price rises?

Not sure at this point, I'm having to build the new website myself so I'm not getting much time for moulds and releases at the moment.  The FV432s are next to be released and should be done this week, then I'll need to get all of the Sci-Fi ranges moulded.  There's potentially 80-100 there so that's 2 months of moulding at least.
www.pendraken.co.uk - Now home to over 10,000 products, including nearly 5000 items for 10mm wargaming, plus MDF bases, Battlescale buildings, I-94 decals, Litko Gaming Aids, Militia Miniatures, Raiden Miniatures 1/285th aircraft, Red Vectors MDF products, Vallejo paints, Tiny Tin Troops flags and much, much more!

Huzzah!

At the risk of being considered a cheeky wee <expletive deleted>, does that include the Abbott?

Asking for a friend.

The big boys made me do it.

Oh now that is awesome and quick, I know I suggested these but to see them is excellent. The naval landing party will be extremely useful and the artillery in shirt sleeves fills a hole that again will be excellent. Just hope we will see them soon
Sadly no longer with us, RIP - Feb 2024.

QuoteThis has to be a contender for the most impressive and complete 10mm range of all time. Might well have to see the bank manager (who??) before Leon does that price rise.
Well I resisted for four months.  X_X  Leon beat me again with the old "prices will be going up"  :ar!  and  "here is more AWI Forum/Facebook eye candy"  :d  routine.
OK but no more than £200 said the bank manager.
But I thought no harm in adding a few more Peninsular packs as well is there?   Its a different period.  :D

Anyone have recommendations on uniform books ?    Preferably comprehensive rather than 37 Osprey titles.

Hi Dave

My first 'go to' book is John Mollo's 'Uniforms of the American Revolution' (if it still available. mine is pretty close to falling to pieces through overuse)!

There is also plenty of Info online, here is a start: http://www.srcalifornia.com/uniforms/uindex.htm

There are some useful 'wargame painting blogs' as well if you look around: https://altefritz.blogspot.com/2021/05/von-breymann-brunswick-grenadier.html

and: https://gilesallison.blogspot.com/2008/11/von-lossberg-fusiliers.html

Anyway, good luck (particularly trying to stick to £200  ;) ), any ideas on what rules you intend to use?

Cheers Paul
T13A Out!

Thanks for the info Paul.  I've now got an ebay copy of Mollo on the way.  Trouble with t'internet is I will just fall into a pit for weeks clicking from one fab site to another. The order is in but the big overspend will be on uniform books, rule sets and other stuff.  Yes as the years roll by there will be scope creep.  But I can start early war.   As for rules I have copies of "live free or die", Black powder and British Grenadier.  So next step is to experiment with coloured card units.  I'm seeking battles rather than the 28mm skirmish types.
Damn. Just realised I may need to order more bases for BP!  =) And possibly more dice!  Enthusiasm 1: Planning 0

That's not bad planning, it's staged investment :)

Yes thanks.  :-bd  Managed to grab a cheaper used copy.  Also found Carl Franklin's British Army Uniforms of the American Revolution ISBN 9781473886667.

Also found some good info in old posts re basing schemes.  I LOVE this forum and all its denizens.  :-*  :-*
In a brotherly, manly way of course.  B)

So now its down to the casting dwarves to painstakingly produce the approx 800 figs I have on order.  (well the "Army" Packs are never enough are they?)

And then clear a couple of months in the 2024-2034 painting schedule.  :D

Indeed. That 800 figs, is that for one army or two?
