My last SYW game, using HOW

A couple of months back now I played a One Hour Wargame scenario with the Honours of War SYW rules. I base my figures on one inch (25mm) squares, 4 bases to a standard unit, giving a 100mm frontage, as used by the 15mm scale QRS (This means I can play on a 3' deep table). Austrians defending against a small Prussian advanced force.





Above: Prussians advance on two fronts. Firefight in town results in Prussians retreating (Smoke is resin broadsides from the Peter Pig pirate ship range).



Above: I often use event cards in my solo games to add a bit of extra spice.
