Hi chaps,
Which guns from which range match Prussian 1813-15 12 pounder cannons please?

Also, Landwehr cavalry, did they carry standards and any examples? Their command group has a lovely flag bearer, shame to waste him.

Terry Wise suggests only Cuirassiers and Dragoons carried standards after 1807.

None of my other sources suggest any standards for Landwehr cavalry, but "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence."

Maverik Models offers some "pennants", but these are lance pennants, I'm afraid.

According to my big book of Napoleonic Artillery, there were 9 types of Prussian 12pdrs in use at the time. 1731, 1741, 1754, 1758, 1758 light, 1759 Austrian, 1759 Brummer, 1768 and 1809. I would think that the older ones would be used in fortifications, and the newest would be rarer?

Reminds me of Hot Lips and Night School bars in Hong Kong c1980.  I wonder if they are still going.

Landwehr cavalry carried no standards or guidons.

The Prussian artillery in 1813 comprised a mixture of Prussian 1809 pattern guns and howitzers and captured French 12pdr guns and 24pdr howitzers.  The Prussian 1809 carriage was similar in appearance to the French Gribeauval design.  So the one I'd use is the one from NPF42 for both types.

In 1813 Prussian 12pdr batteries were equipped as follows:

12 Pfünder-Fußbatterie Nr1:  Eight Prussian 12pdr guns and two 10pdr howitzers.
12 Pfünder-Fußbatterie Nr2:  Eight Prussian 12pdr guns.
12 Pfünder-Fußbatterie Nr3:  Six Prussian 12pdr guns and two 10pdr howitzers.
12 Pfünder-Fußbatterie Nr4:  Six French Gribeauval 12pdr guns and two 10pdr howitzers.
12 Pfünder-Fußbatterie Nr5:  Six French Gribeauval 12pdr guns and two 24pdr howitzers.
12 Pfünder-Fußbatterie Nr6:  Six Prussian 12pdr guns and two 10pdr howitzers.
12 Pfünder-Fußbatterie Nr7:  Three French Gribeauval 12pdr guns and one 24pdr howitzers.
