6mm Rebasing

Putting on a Modern Spearhead game at a gaming weekend next month that is raising funds to help build classrooms in Vanuatu.

Took the opportunity to recycle a lot of 6mm Warsaw Pact stuff that I based up years ago as it really needed it.....finished 2 tank regiments and 90% of a BTR-70 regiment that I need for the game. Got a BMP regiment and some supporting stuff to do, but should be more than enough to cover any future MSH needs, as we don't play the rules that often these days.

As you might have seen NZ has been getting more than its fair share of rainfall this week, so no chance to getting any pics, still I'm glad to have them done in advance of the required date.

Onto getting some other long running projects finished.

I was a good boy and did not get any Warpac Paras in the end, just the Danes

Almost finished with the BMP regiment now but as l've got all the necessary stuff l am doing extra stuff to turn it into a Soviet GSFG regiment which adds another 20 odd stands...but you can have T-80s instead of T-55's 👍

Also finally got some undercoat on 20 odd h&r 1/300 IJN Zeros,Kates and Vals.... mostly bought in 2005! Might see those in action a bit later this year....

While on the subject of 6mm, the Matchbox Skybuster C-130 is an excellent fit for this scale. You can pick up cheap ones in garish colours and with a quick paint job they are "table ready".

Got a 3mm tumbling dice Herkybomber ready to attempt to interdict the British SLOC between Ascension and New Georgia..... another project that needs to be progressed 🙂.... just hope that they don't encounter an RN vessel with an AA capability!
