Just a nominal trial of the Legion and the Moroccan forces this afternoon. Also a chance to take a few pics of the Legion for the winning Best Army category entry in the competition. The way my eyes are deteriorating, it's now or never....

The Legionnaires shot us full of holes and we broke in a very short while. One unit of Amazigh managed a brief escalade and caused losses, but not enough to get a lasting foothold. We blew the gates down, but by then there were no troops left to assault the breach.The Chasseurs d'Afrique were overwhelmed, since there was no room for them in the fort, but otherwise Lee had it all her own way today.
