Could someone please help me out with some close up photos of finished gun limbers? I've got some French 1809 limbers I need to assemble and base but am not sure how to to it.

What's wrong with the picture on the Pendraken website?  In the meantime, here's a link to a picture of a 28mm limber and team that should do the trick.  Alternatively just search for 'French Napoleonic Limber' on-line and you'll find lots of pics of various manufacturer's interpretation of them.

Thanks. The photo on tge pendraken website shows the limber team in profile. But I can't see how the limber wagon joins with thd horses. Is the pole at the front of the limber wagon supposed to be "in the air" and if do how is it glued to that position? There is a cross strut in the pack and it isn't clear to me what I'm supposed to do with it.

OK, the pole should be horizontal and was actually suspended from the horses by their harnesses, but you can't show that in 10mm, so it just sits there in mid air.  Glue the wheels to your base after you've assembled the limber and let it dry with the pole horizontal.  The 'cross piece' is actually part of the harness for the leading horses.  It has a small hole in it.  Enlarge that a little and glue it to the underside of the pole at the front.  It isn't entirely accurate but in 10mm it is as good as it gets.  I'm in the process of assembling a 12pdr battery at the moment.  When I get to the appropriate stages, I'll take some pics for you and post them. In the meantime, here is a link to the Historex site which should help.

Here we go.

1.  The component parts exploded.
2.  The limber assembled.  Note I have removed the pintle.
3.  The assembled limber with 12pdr gun glued to it.  The pintle is too big to go through the hole in the trail of the gun carriage so I have removed it.  If you don't the trail will sit far too high.
4.  The assembled limber on its base with team ready for painting.  I haven't glued the limber and gun to the base yet as I want to be able to paint underneath it easily.  This team comprises mules.
5.  One I made earlier.  This is a French 4pdr horse artillery team.  In an ideal world the French used six-horse teams.  I tend to use four-horse teams for foot artillery and six-horse teams for horse artillery.
