Apologies in advance but I'm a complete newbie to the rules and the scale (10/12mm).
Not quite sure how to base 1944 NW Europe German & Allied anti-tank weapons, such as the bazooka and panzerfaust. Are they included with infantry squads or based separately? If the latter, what size base?

Thanks - Chris

They are upgrades on a base, so give the base ability to use that weapon once per move. Also welcome

I base my infantry six to a 40mm x 20mm base for no better reason than that I had lots of 40mm x 20mm bases from days of playing Warmaster, which inspired BKC initially, and because infantry are 6 hits.

I have an NCO type, an LMG and four riflemen on a base normally but some of my German bases have a panzerfaust instead of one of the riflemen. The composition is purely cosmetic. If the unit actually has a panzerfaust or panzershreck there will be a 10mm cardboard chit (often tucked on end between the figures) to indicate that.

Fortunately the groups I have played with have been fairly relaxed about tokens and markers on the table. After all, it's a game not a diorama.

Others do it differently and will no doubt be along to give you alternate options.

Provided you and your opponent are happy with whatever method you choose, there is no right or wrong in this.

Though clearly, anyone who doesn't do what I do is doing it wrong. :D :D :D :D

Welcome to the forum.

We Base all our BKC stuff on a 30mm frontage.

Infantry are on a 30x30mm base with 3 or 4 figures.

Vehicles and guns have the depth varied to accommodate them.
For Infantry A/T stuff I replace a couple of the infantry with the teams. To further aid identification of the A/T stuff I add agrass tuft, stone or flower tuft.

I've gone 30x20 on infantry bases.  Guns, 30mm frontage and length to suit the gun.

SK, you will now get as many basing variations as you get replies  :D

Just do what you are comfortable with / like the look of /can afford.

It will not matter if you play an opponent who bases differently as the stand values are the same for each type of stand regardless of what size or shape tha stand is or how many models are on the base.
