Actually died in May 2019.  The report came up because some memorabilia was recently put up for auction, then withdrawn at the request of the family.

'Charlie' Faulkner - Pontypool and Wales loose head prop aged 81.
Part of the Pontypool front row with Bobby Windsor and Graham Price.
He was also a judo black belt.
