Seeing as the old thread is still locked . . .

Troll, a Norwegian attempt at a Hollywood-style monster movie:

Available from yesterday on Netflix.

Enjoyable hokum, if extremely derivative.

The Marvel juggernaut rolls on (and on and on . . .), Guardians of the Galaxy 3:

Raider4

And a fifth Indiana Jones movie:

"Dial of Destiny"? Terrible name. Can't be any worse than the fourth. Can it?

There are only three Indiana Jones films...

I enjoyed watching Troll yesterday, despite if feeling very much like King Kong at times. Excellent special effects on the Troll though. There was an earlier film (or series?) where some kids or young adults stumbled across the existence of Trolls still living in Norway, which I thought a better story.

Yeah, I spent most the film thinking "That bit's from Jurassic Park", "that bit's from Kong: Skull Island", then "Godzilla" (the good one), "Godzilla" (the truly terrible one), "Jurassic Park 2", etc. As I said, I enjoyed it, but it is very derivative.

Troll Hunter?

Aye, good fun. Worth watching.

It's all about time travel. Jones goes back in time and possibly meets his younger self. Apparently Indie dies and passes his hat to Phoebe Waller-Bridge. In some endings (I don't think they've picked one yet) PW-B is Indiana Jones and recreates Indi's most famous stunts.

I won't be watching.

Having watched the trailer your discription seems to sum it up very well  :)

"Finland Finland Finland......Finland has it all"
"Welcome back to the fight...this time I know our side will win"

That looks fun, I'll pop it on the list!

The trailer confused me a bit. It's Finland, 1944 and the enemies of the day are.....Nazis?  Not the ones allied to Finland at the time and fighting off a Soviet invasion, presumably. I suppose it wouldn't have been realistic to depict Russians brutally invading a neighbouring country that was once part of their historic empire instead, eh? :-\
