They look lovely. Colourful, in a raggedy sort of way, yet successful in battle. The question is, who wants to play their opponents?
Cheers,
Geoff

After I get a decent sized army painted up for the French I will be tackling the Pendraken Austrians for the same period. Lots of white! I plan to try the same GW contrast paint I experimented with on some of the French royal uniforms.

Cavalry, artillery and some Austrian allies will be handled with some proxy figures.

Since I lose most of the wargames battles I play, I will have to apologize I'm advance to whatever army I command!

Streetgang by adding both width and height to the image tag you've stretched the images to make them square

If you include one the other will be sorted automatically, this is the first picture with just width=600

Lovely work Streetgang, what an eye for detail! Those striped trousers looks quite the work!

These are some great looking figures - you've brought out so much detail on them

With the new forum software I no longer bother setting any of the size parameters on images. This seems to work better on mobile devices (and is easier!)

I'm a bit dense when it comes to these things, my apologies. Perhaps I can go back in and edit the settings. Regardless I have learned for next time!

I have some painted but not based, they aren't Pendraken. You can find the Germans here and the French here.

I do like your WWI troops - very nicely painted.

You ask about Kallistra figures - you may already have got an answer - but if not; My opponent has Kallistra early war Germans, and they are bigger than MM or Pendraken figures. You wouldn't want them in the same force, but as an enemy force they work fine against my MM French or Pendraken British.

Thanks Fred! Not too go too far off on a tangent, but I agree with your assessment on the scale comparisons. I ended up ordering some to see:

More information here.

I hope to be more active on my blog, I have quite a bit more that I've painted and need to actually photograph and post.

Very nice.

When I did my Austrians I wasn't happy with the officer figure in the Casquet. Consequently, I got some of the officer figures from the artillery sets in the 1809 range.  These come with large bicornes and are wearing the Frockcoat over their white uniform coats. I felt that these looked more how I imagined the Austrians to look.
