I've decided to join the forum so I can consume infinitely more 10 mm-related news

I'm currently taking my first real steps into 10mm: 1813 General d'Armee as a way to scratch my 'big battalions' itch, and 100 Years War Lion Rampant for a bit of fun. Hoping to post up some pictures of them once they're finished

For Lion Rampant - what are you thinking around basing? One approach I've seen that looks good is to use the normal 28mm basing, but with multiple 10mm figures on each base.

For Lion Rampant - what are you thinking around basing? One approach I've seen that looks good is to use the normal 28mm basing, but with multiple 10mm figures on each base.

The plan is ~3 models on a base with a unit being made up of either 2 or 4 bases. I did contemplate using the same number of bases as 28mm but decided that it would be quicker and simpler to just shrink the game, playing on a 2x2. Makes it easier to transport then!

If your table's large enough to accommodate 28mm, you can keep the same bases but triple up the figure count.
Even larger multiples work well for troop types that form up in close order.

If your table is smaller, have a look at the 3-2-1 basing introduced in the Pikeman's Lament book of the same series.
(It works with Lion Rampant too).
Then play with reduced measurement, half inches or centimentres according to taste.
