I am currently running an 'imaginations' Wars of the Roses series of games with 28mm figures set in a fictitious hamlet in 1471, but the background narrative has developed a situation that has Henry trying to return to London amidst gathering rebel forces - what better moment to tell this part of the story than putting the Barnet scenario down from the Blood and Roses boardgame package.

the account is a merging of the two storylines, set out on a blog post. Can Henry survive the challenge?  LINK

I bet about 75% of WotR armies had their roots in Kingmaker (and the rest in Shakespeare).

Great idea Norm to combine the Piggy Longton Chronicles with the actual history of the period via the boardgame. Neat to use the outcome to possibly affect what transpires in the village and surrounding areas.

Thanks all, I am interested in exploring the interface between figures and boardgames.
