I presume the T-10 tank has been corrected, currently it is an uber-tank more akin to the Is-7, certainly not better than the Conqueror; and the British towed artillery being manhandled 50cm......

> yup - both adjusted

Oh yes, before I forget, the Vigilant ATGW has a range of 1375m, which is 65cm, not the current 185cm (!)

> yup - adjusted

I'm not sure why Malkara has 10D6 versus infantry in the open compared to 5D6 against a tank. I know it's a monstrous 8" HESH warhead but if it was that good agin' soft targets everyone would have had one.

> see comments above - but can happily adjust but I suspect that most players would not want to 'waste' it on a jeep  :D

QuoteThe master spreadsheet is complete now so it's a case of transferring all of the revised data into the PDF army lists.  That's quite a task so it'll be something for after Salute.

My question is if there are any plans to release the master spreadsheet as this would make printing short game specific datasheets much easier than trying to copy and paste from a Pdf and having to rearrange the formatting. Having just the units you are using on a sheet in front of you makes playing so much easier. Thanks in advance

As there is an online army builder for BKC - can't see why there wouldn't be one for CWC

Thanks tried it and the result was rather restrictive, spaced out over multiple pages with lots of blocks of colourful (expensive) ink. A spreadsheet is much more flexible. Used one available with Fist full of Tow for a number of years. Just asking if one is available for CWC2/BKC4 before I go to the trouble of creating one myself.

It's not something we've planned to do at the moment, it's not something I'd considered to be honest.  The bare spreadsheet feels a bit 'unprofessional'?  All of the CWC lists will be going into the army builder and you can export as a PDF or HTML file from there, so you could potentially copy/paste the data into a spreadsheet quite easily I think?

Is there any news on when this can be expected to launch?

Thanks for the reply. Nice rules btw. It is possible to copy from PDFs into a spreadsheet but in my hands then needs quite a bit of manual editing to make everything line up properly. Did it for my armies when BKC4 came out and started doing it for CWC2 but still quite a few hours to go. Hearing that a spreadsheet actually existed made me ask. Flexible play aids don't feel unprofessional to me but perhaps I'm from a different generation. I've just checked and the spreadsheet for the other ruleset is actually hosted on the publishers website.  Perhaps something to consider?

Leon

We'll have a think, no worries.  I'll see if we can make the Builder downloads a bit easier to work with too.

Which ruleset is that?

In a state of shock. That worked perfectly, much better than the inbuilt excel importer. Now of to redo all the BKC4 and CWC2 lists in a matter of minutes. Thanks you so much.

Fist full of tow. First modern rules I tried when I came back to the hobby. Some good ideas but love the unpredictability of BKC/CWC coming from the command system.

I'll take a look at that.

So now happy. Have spreadsheet in the format I wanted.QRSmini.jpg Able to copy and paste data on just the vehicles on the table in one sheet. not to much clutter when playing. Realising I'm basically recreating the QR sheet from Corp commander 40 years ago when my "cold war" historical figures were "Ultra modern". So what do other players have to hand playing this sort of game?

A couple of things missing, don't know if you're planning on adding or were deliberately left off.

British - engineer's no AVRE 105 with mine plow (guessing it would be an easy transfer over) or anything for giant viper
Jordan - they had saladins, saracens and M113's

Thanks for this - can check out the AVRE 105 with mine plow - not a big issue to recreate stats and costs. I will just need to research the dates.

With Jordon - a lot depends upon dates and numbers but again, that is probably easy enough to double check.
It also depends if the Saracens (in particular) were issued to the army or (as was often the case with a number of Arab countries) they were issued to police or internal security only - in which case I tend to leave them out of the main lists.
But again, it's easy enough to transfer the stats across from the UK (or US lists) as none of these would have restricted technology in the export models (well, nothing that would make any real difference in the game anyway).

The CEnts were all removed in 92 after a 165mm one blew up during Desert Storm.

Jordanian Saladins - certainly in use in 73/4 when one stopped a Syrian attack by killing 3-5 Syrian T54/5 - which is not actually posible ? (Quite well documented though).

Jordanians fighting the Syrians in 73/4 ... ???

In September 1970, during the full-blown military hostilities between Jordan and the PLO known as Black September, Syria sent an armored division into Jordan to reinforce the Palestinian forces under attack by Hussein's army. By July 1971, Syria had broken off diplomatic relations with Jordan over the issue. {from Wiki} But I can find no reference to the Jordanians actually fighting Syrian armour?

The AVREs were removed because of doctrinal changes it was decided that a gun wasn't needed and the role was more route denial and access with the Willch AVREs leading the way - time of great changes. The one that blew up was due to refueling and someone cooking on the rear deck.
