We've got all of the machines setup today and casting has resumed!  The tables have now got some moulds on the shelves, spares trays above and order boxes to the side, but I got some pics while they looked neat and tidy!

And outside we've had the fencing people in to get started on our new security fence, which should be finished by Wednesday.  It'll be a lot tidier than the chainlink and definitely harder for anyone to get over!

I assume you have checked that the new fence, which looks to be outside the old one, is still inside or on the boundary of the property :-\

The property plans we've got here show us coming to edge of the pavement and the properties to either side have got their fences at the outer line as well, so we're just coming out to join that boundary really.

Nice bit of fencing, I can picture the late Angus Lennie* trying to climb over it.

It's not that high to climb over.... unless you are a casting dwarf trying to escape  :)

You could probably get some sort of farm subsidy, if you do that. ;)

The place looks brilliant, Leon !! :-bd

I think we're all SO pleased for you and the team.

All the best - Phil. :)

Leon

Nah, old fence is coming down once the new one is up, just to keep the property secure.  I need to get that taken down first thing tomorrow morning so that the fencing guys can finish off.

Today we organised all of the orders, emails, additions and amendments so that we know where we are with the orders.  These have been split into the different piles and we'll be working through these as quickly as possible.

We were casting all day as well, so the orders will be flying out of the door until we get caught up.

Upstairs the final office wall has been boarded and we dropped through the wiring for the lights and power.  The electrician is back for his final shift on Saturday to get this all finished for us and we'll be decorating it over the next few days.

Where are the pics of the original 'workshop' in the garage, with the wall of Coke cans ?

You should have a before & after shots once this is completely finished, Leon.

Cheers - Phil. :)
