Finally got something fully painted in 2025

Five foot figures and four terrain pieces painted, based and varnished.

Two bots, bought cheap at Claymore this year, rebased.

The figures are 20mm Gaslands minis. The bots are intended for the Infinity rules and were bought ready painted for eight quid; not bad considering they are somewhere between £30 and £40 (iirc) unpainted. The rock formatios were vacuum formed packaging that I chopped up and based. Was about to recycle the plastic but thought,"Wait a minute I could turn that into something!"

Those bots are a bargain and a half. 

Good work on the packaging - usually packing ends up retaining some look of packaging but these look very natural

I really like that terrain. I keep some odd-looking packaging because I think I can make some terrain out of it. Those rocks give me some ideas. Thank you and congratulations for your work.

Glad that you have broken the suction that has prevented completion of a project.
When I began reading your post I thought I had detected the problem, you were painting five foot figures (about one to one scale, requiring a great deal of time and paint)

Did you deform it with a hairdryer?....hard to imagine what the original packaging was for offhand.

d_Guy, yes, it has been good to put paint on things again. Even if it was in the ice box that is my kitchen-diner for six months of the year.

As to 5' figures. Hmmmm. I wonder if there's a market in second hand shop mannikins? 1-1 scale skirmish games anyone?  

Peter, the packaging was for some chibi miniatures bought in a Modiphius sale event last year (or possibly the year before). Still haven't found a use for the minis but the packaging chopped up into something really useful. If I ever get the junk cleared off my dining table it will feature in some chibi ninja shenanigans. Among other things, no doubt.
