Nice, Wkeyser.
I need to do an in-depth read and playtest "Captain General", but I like what I see. I'm against figure removal at the battalion level but I may get BLB2 just to have it. I find myself buying quite a few rulesets lately and at today's prices for flashy, fluffy, bloated, hardbound, coffee table ones, it was nice to see the affordable, simple, no nonsense production of "Captain General".(the way rules USED to be).  I'm not a marketing whiz but wouldn't it be beneficial to the promotion of the hobby to sell  more copies at an affordable price rather than selling fewer copies at 2-3 times the price? It seems to me that today's rule writers and publishers are targeting the affluent, middle aged male rather than to the younger gamers-to-be and in the process creating the image that historical gamers are priviledged, elitist bastards :o.
