You'll get fatter  :P

I could put on at least a couple of stone.....and still be well within 'perfect' body mass index, Ian.

Well there was a rave in Yate (Bristol) last night with some 500 odd people and I imagine there will be more in a rush to 'enjoy' before the lockdown hits on Thursday. It won't affect us greatly as we've still been isolating as much as possible due to our son's vulnerability. The big question is whether my wife (black African) will still have to work in school or not, ditto staff who are vulnerable. Lots of stuff still needs clarifying etc, but fingers crossed it. will get things back under control...

Read of a fifty person christening party too the police had to break up. Their defence? "I spent a lot of money on this and sure the virus thing isn't real anyway". Sigh. Lock them in and let nature take its course?

I truly give up with these ameoba brained .......erm......twits (sic.....I got the spelling wrong)
I just cannot get my head around how completely idiotic some (fortunately few) of these Muppets are.

"Doesn't affect me.....I won't have a jab.....THEY are going to inject me with some sort of micro-chip......so I can be tracked........AARGH  !!!"

Ahhhhh......That feels better. ;)

Cheers - Phil  :)

Exactly! Madness. Why would they want to go around injecting you with microchips on their own dime when they can get you to buy a phone on your own dime that tracks everything you do, everywhere you go and listens to everything you say?

Lord Kermit of Birkenhead

As Phil should know having a hunting pack of Canines youy can't insert a microchip through a hyperdermic, it be far to big. Doggy ones don't have transmitters, just ID info, so a transmitter needs a power supply, whewre we going to get it from ?

Still no-one went broke by overestimating the stupidoty of the World's genral population  X_X

Certainly not with the size of the needles that 'we' have jabbed into our arms for flu/pneumonia/B12  injections, Ian.....You're spot on there, chum.

The 'bore' of the needles to put a chip into the dogs, or the gee-gees is bloody horrendous.

I'm a good soldier.....and I never squeak, when I have my jabs.....I bloody well would, if I had one of the big bore needles rammed into my arm.......That WOULD sodding hurt !

Cheers - Phil  ;)

When I had typhoid, they have to give you the injection in your buttocks as it's intra-muscular and a very thick serum. In short it feels like someone has injected a marble into your butt! The problem is when you've caught your breath (boy does it hurt and I'm good with pain) they then tell you you need one in the other buttock :o. When you know whats 'coming it's ten time worse, believe you me!!!

We had 100's queueing outside Primark in town today, because they can't possibly survive in lockdown without 5 socks for £1...  Absolute morons and the exact reason why we're all having to do this again.  They'll be the first ones complaining though when the lockdown gets extended and we all have to have Christmas without our families.

The most accurate statement I've seen about this whole situation was right back in April...

The two most important factors when considering the Covid pandemic are:
1. How dense the population is.
2. How dense the population is.

It has been suggested that a society called DENSA would be well suited to the needs of the average Joe.

Here in Germany/Bavaria we have just gone back into lock down.
the first lockdown was only essential shops could open. but still a lot of panic buying.
but if you've ever been to Germany over a long weekend its not surprising (if shops shut on a Fri/Sat/Sun you take your life in your hands to go shopping Thursday night. a lot like the boxing day sales used to be.)
this time Lockdown lite means all shops can stay open, but pubs and restaurants closed, football closed and cinemas closed.
WHO today have declared that ventilating your rooms help with COVID! but Austria have shut the mountains so you cant get COVID?  ;D

I read an interesting article in the Daily Mail this morning about Middlesbrough's match against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
how fans could go sit in hospitality suites and watch the game on the TV. but had to have the window curtains shut sop they couldn't see the pitch (where the game was being played)

On Saturday central London (Oxford Street) was heaving so it will be definitely a case of too many people getting close to each other.

Luckily during the last few months we've got the bulk stuff in so won't have to worry about the panic buyers on things like loo roll or rice.

Thanks for the top tip about socks Leon, I've just checked and I desperately need many many packs urgently today! so I am just off to primark. Only thing is, my glasses steam up with the face mask, so I will just have to wear it with my nose poking out. I can do that can't I? I mean the mask did not come with any instructions! It must be OK because I saw a load of oldies doing it yesterday, but then they did need clear glasses to see all the food items that they were handling before they decided not to buy any!

Things are starting to bite here. I can't use my mobile devices, obviously, because of the 5G thing and the vaccine is problematic, what with all those chips inside that will subject me to tracking and mind control, I wouldn't mind that too much, since my life is quite simple, but the thought of some government quango using mind control, ordering me that I have to start another army in another period in another scale would be just be too annoying ..... I am perfectly able to do that under my own steam thanks very much!

On a brighter note, my tin foil hat is coming along nicely

Line the walls of your entire dwelling with tin foil (ala Conspiracy Theory), it's the only way to be sure.

Thanks for the welcome level of sarcasm Norm, cheered me up a bit.

On the tin foil front my wargames hut is insulated with a 60mm layer of foam which also incorporates two layers of tin foil. It certainly screws up wireless signals from my internet router in the main house so I had to run a twisted pair cable to the hut to get my broadband connection in the hut. It doesn't seem to block our wireless home phone or mobile phones so it may be a frequency thing.
My Ego forbids a signature.

Or it may be that the government have tweaked the signal so they can still track you through your phone! :D :D :D

Are smart phones, like smart bombs, only smart in contrast with their users :)
