I didn't realise that the clocks had gone back for 3 days until I went for an eye test and was an hour early!  ;D

I would of put it down to not being able to read the clock  ;D

OOOPS !!  ;D ;D ;D

I always get an extra warning when the clocks are about to change......For some reason (as I've mentioned before) the PC changes 'the hour' a day or two before the actual event.

Cheers - Phil
Techno its not giving you a few days notice its just 363 days late  :D

Orcs

As I work shifts I have to adjust my sleep pattern regularly. Fortunately I seem to be able to sleep more or less anywhere and anytime. It does take  a day or two to get used to nights, but once I am in "night mode" I could go on for ages like that.

When I am not working I often wake up middle of the night (as does Mrs Orcs) and we often have a cuppa (no euphemisms are involved in this sentence)  at 3 am and read our books.

I can't wait until I retire when I can stay up when I want and sleep when I want .

If you want to follow that up Orcs, don't get a dog.

Or.....Get a place in the countryside, where you don't have to take them for a walk. ;)

I simply open the back door, and tell the 4 Labs to 'bog off'......They can't get anywhere dangerous (Like the road) and just go out....have a bimble around....and then come back after about a quarter of an hour.

I don't even have to monitor the door. Two of the gits have taught themselves how to use a door handle.......One of the oiks can even open the door inwards. This causes endless amusement when we have caller, who's never met the dogs.

There will be Sam trying to pull the door open, and the 'visitor' desperately trying to pull the handle back up to stop the dogs getting at him/her.  ;D ;D ;D

Cheers - Phil  :)

;D ;D ;D our dog knows how to work door handles too but he's just a tad too small to reach them with any strength without a leap, so runs and jumps at them for a bit and if he's no luck comes and gives you "the look".

Ours isn't a morning dog thankfully, takes his time getting up in the morning after we do, even if we've been a little later getting up than normal. So no issues with irregular patterns. Having a dog does force you to leave the house on occasion, for fresh air, which I'm assured is a "good thing".

I'd have to say that 'me and Von' are exceeding lucky that we 'opperate' at totally different times of the day, as far as all the animals are concerned

There are probably only two hours, out of twenty four when we're both in the land of nod.

The labs don't know how lucky they are.....The oiks !   ;D

Yep 425 shifts to go.   :) (provided the Bl**dy management don't mess around with the shift pattern)
