Hi

I was looking for French sailors, early WW2, and seeing that their uniform regs were unchanged for a long time I was wondering if the:-

Thank you for the reply, the figures would be useful for such things as the Boxer Rebellion as well. Now I just need to get a Bagad band -

even though it didn't start until the 1940/50s, it'd still look great :D

Glad to have been able to help on that one. I've picked up quite a bit of info on the FPW since I started gaming it in tne late 70s. Pendraken 10mm was the first real opportunity to get into the Republican phase though, although I am now building up the Imperials (also great for 1859 and the Crimea). Going to have a real good crack at Spicheren now that I have been able to get a copy of Henderson's study, which has finally been reprinted. Ascoli's A Day of Battle is also a goldmine for Mars la Tour (and to a lesser extent Gravelotte - St Privat). It is an excellent handbook for walking the battlefield just outside Metz.

I have to agree, having toured the battlefields, Ascoli is amazing!
