Welcome to the Pendraken Forums.

First of all we'd like to welcome you to our community. We hope you can find the answers to your questions. You will find lots of avid Wargaming experts here to help you.

Please feel free to post away, everyone is friendly and we don't think there is any such thing as a stupid question (although we could be proved wrong  :))

If you would like to introduce yourself, then just create a new thread in the 'Intro's and Welcomes' board to say hello. Otherwise just jump into the other boards and start posting those questions or even answers if you can help others.

A couple of tips to help you get the best from the forum.

1. If you want to ask a question, it's nearly always better to start a new thread so that you get more answers. You can do this by going to the appropriate board and clicking the 'New Topic' button. If you ask questions within an existing thread you may not get as many answers.

2. If you post in the appropriate forum you will get the answers applicable to your question, for example, if you have a WWII question then make sure you post in the 'WWII' board.

3. If you are unsure of anything or have a technical question then please ask in the 'Forum Info' board

4. Keep an eye on the Forum Info board for updates and announcements.

5. If you are looking for something that you remember seeing or think will be on the site click the Search Button, you can do a quick search or an advanced search.

6. Any questions you have regarding the features of this site, please post in Forum Info board and someone will come along to answer your questions.

7. Explore the site and most of all have Fun!  :)

We are very proud that the Pendraken Forum is a friendly, helpful and informative site to visit, so we want to keep it this way.

Please adhere to the following simple rules and if you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of the Admin team.

  • The Pendraken Forum is viewed by people of all ages and backgrounds, so keep your posts polite, friendly and suitable for everyone to read.

  • Each member is allowed ONLY one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed without written permission from the Administrators.

  • Please refrain from using "TEXT SPEAK" in your posts.  Whilst shortening words is ok for mobiles, on forums it just makes the posts harder to read.

  • While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, racism, arguing, flaming or inflammatory posts.

  • Spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the Personal message system to spam other members.

  • Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed including 'cheating the system' type posts.

  • You may not post any copyrighted material unless it is owned by yourself or Pendraken.

  • We reserve the right to ban anyone who violates the forum rules.

  • While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

Our decision is final in all these matters.
We reserve the right to remove or edit any posted information that in anyway, in our sole opinion, does not adhere to our rules or general well being of this family friendly site, without warning.

New Members
We welcome new members and would like to point them to the following page which gives some tips to help you get the most out of this site.

Reporting Posts and Bad behaviour
We encourage our members to report any post that they object to to our moderators, rather than posting in the forums. To report a post just click  'Report to moderator' at the bottom right of any post. A report will be sent to all moderators who will take any appropriate action.

If you do not want to grant to Pendraken the rights set out above, please do not submit your contribution to pendrakenforum.co.uk.

We (Pendraken) are committed to protecting your personal information. We do not sell, distribute or give out any of our customer's information. We understand how valuable your personal information and privacy is. Only limited personnel have access to our database. This way, you can be rest assured that any personal information that you give us, stays with us.

What kind of information do we collect from customers?
We collect only the information you voluntary give us at registration, namely your email address and any information you enter into your profile. We use your email address to notify you of any site action that may affect your account. We do not use your email address for any other purpose and we do not pass your email address to 3rd parties.

Personal Messages (Private Messages) (PM)
Personal messages sent via the forum are stored in our server database. A limited number of personnel have access to this database and it is possible that your messages could be read by those personnel. (This is exactly the same as your ISP staff having access to your emails). The Administrators do not routinely read personal messages but it may become necessary to scan the database when abuse has been reported or suspected.

We strongly recommend that you do NOT use our PM system to transmit personal messages that you do not want anyone else to have access to.

IP Address logging
The forum logs the IP address of all our visitors, this is used to help prevent abuse of our system. We also use website analysis software to track our website visitors. The information we obtain from the website analysis software is strictly for internal use to aid us in providing better services to our visitors.

Do we share your information with 3rd parties?
Your personal information is never shared with any other parties with the exception of abuse or fraudulent investigations where your email and IP address may be released to the appropriate authorities.

A cookie is a small data text file, which a Web site stores on your computer's hard drive (if your Web browser permits) that can later be retrieved to identify you. We use cookies to track your account on our site, this enables us to show you what you have and have not read, show you what has been added since your last visit and to provide better overall web browsing experience.

Policy changes
We reserve the right to make changes to our policy at any time without any notification. Please check this page at regular intervals for changes. Changes to policy becomes immediately effective upon being posted in this site.
