I think usually the attacker has more options and is therefore more interesting if playing solo :-\

I definitely enjoy playing a hard fought defence but I have the luxury of regular opponents :)

Thanks for all the positive comments about the game and in particular the tips from mmcv regarding Imgur although just had another look at the site and I'm not actually sure how to put in the 'width' definition that you mention, any more help greatfully received!

When I played it I simply diced to see if I was the attacker or defender. I started this AWI 'project' back in March and this was really a test game to see if I liked the rules (a free adaption for the ACW Regimental Fire and Fury rules that you can download: http://www.fireandfury.com/rffvariants.shtml) which I did, a lot. Really looking forward to playing AWI with my mates in the not too distant future and just noticed that my club, Mid Somerset Wargames, re-opened yesterday evening but not sure how that will work with the current restrictions still in place.

Bye the way as mentioned in a previous post the Pendraken AWI figures have been a joy to paint.

You can just type it in directly to the img tag on the post on the forum itself. So when you have the post lined up with the img links all in you can type width=800 inside the tag. I then just copy and paste that to the others in the post as well. You can use the previous button to see how it will look.

You can actually do height and/or width but I find width is usually enough as it will automatically scale the height to match.
