Yes! The only real evidence for any sort of pre-contact "artillery" I've come across and it's one illustration and a few lines of description. It can't have been that effective though, a spinning crossbeam with a pike of stones in front, I'm sure there's a fair amount of friendly fire.

I'd guess that it's probably on a plane somewhere but they've not scanned it yet, so it'll suddenly update to NZ in the next day or so hopefully.

Being able to track international shipments is both a blessing and a curse

I've decided on the 6 Knights I will use as the basis of my English armies

Based on The characters in Shakespeare's Henry V they will be:

• King Henry V - White & Blue livery
• Duke of Exeter - White & Red livery
• Earl of Salisbury - Red & Black livery
• Duke of Gloucester - Mulberry & Blue livery
• Duke of York - White & Blue livery
• Earl of Warwick - Red livery

Interestingly it appears that Thomas Beaufort was only made Duke of Exeter in 1416, so at the time of Agincourt he was the Earl of Dorset

Time to do some research on:

• Constable of France
• Duke of Bourbon / Duke of Brittany (depending on the edition of the play)
• Duke of Orléans
• Duke of Berry
• Duke of Burgundy I also have a Burgundian army, to be lead by Jean the Fearless
• Lord Rambures
• Lord Grandpré

With my Punic War project rapidly approaching completion I'm starting to do some painting research for my next project the Hundred Years War

I've order enough figures for 8 DBA armies
    IV/16 Scotland
    IV/57 Low Countries
    IV/62 100 Years War English (2)
    IV/64 Medieval French (2)
    IV/74 Free Company & Armagnac
    IV/76 Early Burgundian

I'd be very interested if anyone can point me at online resources for painting these forces, particularly livery colours for the more 'common' soldiers

Interesting.  How many figures on a base are you planning to have, or did you have for the Punic Wars.  My 6mm Punic Wars are doubled numbers of 6mm on a 15mm base.

I'm using the same number of mounted figures, except I use 4 Knights rather than 3 to differentiate from cavalry more clearly

I use twice the number of foot figures, basically two ranks rather than one, slightly less for hoard only 7 or 9 figures

When I did 6mm I used four times the figures for foot and three or four times as many mounted

All based for 15mm, i.e. 40mm wide bases for DBA I use 20mm deep for most foot, 30mm deep for mounted and 40mm deep for artillery, elephants and hordes

Given where I live that's a fairly direct route, although they did have to fly 'past' New Zealand to get to Sydney
