New mat

Got me a 4 x 8 foot double-sided mousepad gaming mat today, and very pretty it is too. Tiny Wargames have my vote.

How are you using it with hills? Is it flexible enough to take the "bumps" underneath?

I've got plywood and plaster hills to put on top. I don't like the lack of clear edges with undercloth terrain, though I grant its realism.

This looks to be very nice quality.   I like the way that the colour is more natural and not
the usual 'radioactive green' !

Mmm, nicely restrained. The flip side is good too; desert, but not entirely a dead salt-flat effect.

Good to hear that Tiny Wargames are back operating after their PayPal troubles. I have a number of their cloth mats, and am very pleased with them.

Really nice looking mat and the basing of your figures ties in quite nicely from what I can see.

I began rebasing them once I'd ordered a mat that flock would blend in with. I'm reasonably satisfied with the result, save that the boulders aren't all attached as firmly as I'd wish. Maybe a dab of clear nailpolish is in the future.

That's tasty - and the bases do indeed go well!

I've some nice neoprene river from them that's disappeared somewhere, and a cracking cloth print of the Dover Strait for playing Blood Red Skies on - good choice!
