We'd better have a head count to see if anyone's melted.

Particularly pleasant here in the Preselis.

Hot....But with a particularly nice breeze that's taking the real edge off the furnace, that a lot of other places in the UK seem to be struggling with.
Only thing that's been a pain, for me, is that the heat keeps aggravating the hand 'what that barsteward horsefly bit'...and I have to keep sticking said hand in cold water, to stop the itching.

The cold water 'don't half help', though.  :)

Trust none of you lot have been trapped on trains, or in traffic jams.....Some of the stories I've been listening to on the radio........ :o :o :o :o......AAARGH !!

Still here, but the weather's more like A Malaysian hill station than Glasgow.

I've been splitting my time between gardening* and watching the Tour de France on the box.

Tour was extremely exciting (It's been a good tour in general with plenty of contenders remaining into the final week).
Garden was also pleasant in short bursts, got a lot done.

* Gardening today included priming most of the scenic items I purchased at the Glasgow Games Gathering.
    That rattlecan paint doesn't half dry quick in the heat.

Spent the day relaxing as too hot to do much else. Started cooling down a tad and looking forward to it being 10 degrees cooler.

Too hot here to do anything after about 10am. No painting today (or yesterday) but great for catching up on info about our new PM, Charlie Carroli  :O), and his gang of self-destructors, and also reading - Chris Ryan setting a couple of ex-SAS chaps on a mission to gather the dirt on someone who is clearly Nigel Farage busily betraying the country to the Russians via Brexit. Oh how we laughed!!!!  ~X(

We were eagerly anticipating enjoying the nudist area in the Bois de Vincennes. What do you know, there's nowhere to swim! After ten minutes lying naked on the lawn, you start to wonder if you're making optimal use of your holiday....

Here's a tip. If it says "bois" - avoid. If it has "plage" or "lac" in the name - go.  :P
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Did some "gardening" myself today - gloss varnishing of 8 pikemen dried in half the time, magnetised mdf bases, Super Glue worked first time for a change when basing them and Milliput base texturing set much quicker. Could have gone on to add sand and grass but BBQ had to be lit and wine had to be drunk. I think I could get used to modelling under the parasol on the garden table.   :-bd

There are plenty of little lakes there, but only for the textiles! :'(

There's some wet stuff dropping from the sky, at the mo'.

It can't be rain, because I've just checked on Auntie's weather maps, and it says we currently have a 0% chance of 'precipitation'.

Shome mishtake shuuurly.
