Well, not a huge amount, they could probably be used for line regiments too. I've given them closely cropped round hats, gaitered trousers and cut down coats. One detail that might be different from other packs is the bayonet sheath affixed under the cartridge box, but that's barely noticeable. The command have an ensign, which gives you a choice to have flags or not even though its unlikely the standards ever left England. The light and grenadier  companies do have distinctive hats which I wanted to capture. In the round I followed this article. http://www.military-historians.org/company/journal/guards/guards.htm

Arguably other packs would have done for the guards, but I wanted them to have a distinct pack as they are a special regiment and I think deserve to stand out.

Shecky

Looks like my AWI project has just been extended a few more months!

Thanks Clib.
It seems that we use the same page for Guards uniforms.
What was your source for smaller hats ? The picture of officer ?  http://www.military-historians.org/company/journal/guards/guards7.jpg

And the last question:
Is the British firing line in cut dow coats and hats sheduled in foreseable future ?

Yeah pretty much, gives them a distinct look, though its just as likely they had wider brims.
Cut down coats and hats are probably in the next batch of AWI infantry, but bear in mind I have more LoA to do first, and the next AWI I will work on will be cavalry. No more infantry before the autumn I'd imagine.

Anyway back to work (though I may have to look at the top three totty thread to steady myself again first)

Not sure yet, too many shows at the moment to get many moulds done.  The missing LoA moulds are being done as I type, and I think we master moulded up some of the recent WW2 masters as well.
