Got a delivery from mantic on friday, so this meant painting up some more walking dead! I did them in a quick and dirty cartoon style, like my other walking dead stuff. No need to be clean, it's post apoc anyway!

2019 event exclusive Chris the hunter and objective markers

my favourite team, Rosita, Abraham and Eugene

Negan

Blaine for deadzone

and i also finished some chronoscope models from reaper, that were taking up space on the painting tray

So: adding 12 to the model count: 267 models finished

and the tally (adding my mantic order): About 5387 models are painted and 2237 models are still waiting for love.

It's a personal choice, i decided to take my overall quality down a bit, and get faster results. I don't want to be sitting on a heap of unpainted minis for decades  ;D

A painful decision to have to make.

It really isn't!

if you look at the numbers:

2017:1000 models painted
2018:767 models painted
2019: 267 models painted

That's over 2000 and well worth a drop in quality!

Good show! Keep at it!

As expected a lot of my time has gone into playing with the new computer, but i try to stick to minimum 50 minis per month. Seem to be doing okay for the moment so can't complain. If i can keep that up i can maybe get 600-700 models done by the end of the year!

A big plus for me is that my main projects are getting completed. Most things i have left to paint are side projects, or minis left over from earlier projects that have been abandoned. Still worth painting them up though, as:

- i can jump into new games/rules without having to do much painting effort.
- interest in the project might be rekindled
- i have something to do :)
