Black Powder game next week, planning to use my 1866 Saxons against my Bavarian corps (1870, but whose counting).
I need a causas belli.
Something almost historical with a twist...
Thinking Crown Prince of Bavaria refusing to dance with a Saxon Dutchess at a fancy dress ball, and she poured her drink on him in a fit of picque!

Bavarians want a united Germany, and Saxony haven't forgotten who they were allied with for much of the previous 170 years, so think they are going to be sold out to the French.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Scenario and Orbats compiled.
Dug out the models for two corps, it's a lot of light blue vs light blue, head counted units, realised that the Bavarians were missing their corps artillery and cuirassiers, and the Saxons were missing their cavalry brigade commander, re checked original photos to see whether I had actually painted them (2013, not used yet), redug through the garage, found Bavarians, dug again, found cavalry commander for Saxons in with the Hessian division, ransom paid, armies now ready to go!
