I am putting together a 3' x 4' traveling game to demonstrate For King & Parliament to other humans. The Battle of Montgomery (1644) is the example scenario in the rules and a useful common denominator (plus it has lots of cavalry which I almost never have in my usual gaming). I recently saw Paul's pictures of Stow-on-the-Wold (1646) in which the NZ group used various colored 5mm pom poms for the variety of markers required for FK&P. I have seen them used before but until I saw Paul's pics, I had never considered them.

I have a collection of markers made but for Ammo and Dash I use 5mm dice in frames as counters. They work fine for leisurely solo play but are a bit too fiddly for travel and quicker group play. So now I have pom poms:

Green for Dash, Lavender for Ammo.

These New Zealand pom poms are much nicer to look at.

Might I suggest Leon knocks us up a bag to two to support our games
