I'm planning on using the flexibility of the sabot basing to allow me to represent:

  • Pike heavy - pike at front with flags behind
  • Standard (1:2) - officers and flags at front
  • Shot heavy - shot at front with officers behind

It's not only the look of the units (painting and basing, etc.) but the inclusion of the commanders' names that impresses me also (presumably the names are historically accurate? - please don't tell me, if not!  X_X ).
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
