We went the exact same route, once FM Montgomery had left us and after many tears ACM Arthur Harris arrived, much to our delight.

You know what's nice to see here though. It's what effects us the most: not the passing of some (most probably deeply flawed) "celebrity" but the real loss we feel when we lose someone we love - especially our devoted feline and canine chums.

I saw him at (I think) Earl's Court when I was about 13 (?)....I'd been dragged along by my dear old Mum.
I DO remember that I thought he was a terrific 'speaker', and he held the whole crowd spellbound.
