Decent innings, tho'.

A damned good innings and a great name as others have said. Also looked pretty big in the Dirty Dozen.

Ithoriel

Norman Eugene Walker - no wonder he went by "Clint" :)

Brings back memories of watching various Westerns on the telly with my father.

In the late 1980s we had an Alsatian dog called Bodie. Yes, of course he was named after the Clint Walker character.

As a young child I'm told I used to sit on the back of our settee (imagining it was a horse) when Cheyenne was on TV. Ahhh - the old days. But now I've just turned 60 so I guess it's not just those days that are old.

Leslie Grantham. Perhaps better known as "Dirty Den" from EastEnders.

I was going to mention a 4 letter word - t*xi - but thought that was perhaps uncalled for.

Do we know what he died of ?
'They' seem to be being very quiet about that.

Quite. My thought exactly.

Did anyone mention PETER Stringfellow? Died a couple of weeks back, family keeping the details quiet and minimal fuss. Given how much larger than life and huge self publicist he was that's very restrained!
