Going on with terrain, a collegue of mine "clears houses" as a second job. Like emptying houses when people pass away etc..

He said today that he found a castle in an attic, and if i wanted to take a look. if i didn't want it, it would go in the bin.

so now i have this:

black scorpion figure for scale

Nice find. I'm sure I have one of those in the house - bought for the children of course!

I wanted to get them done last weekend, as i have a couple days off from work at the end of this week. MAybe i can get a few games in with the new stuff. I might just make my mdf scenery though, wich is also good!

I went with the mdf, as i didn't have enough time to get my game set up before the kids went to bed.

HAve always been happy with sarissa kits, and the first two went togheter very smooth, but the last two were garbage (the chateau and the high cabin)

was not lasered all the way  through, so endud up cutting every single piece to make it fit!

result is ok, but the process made me want to just hit it with a hammer!

Well.....

It's very nice...But I can see all the 'chips' you've had to carve out, Peter...No wonder you got a little bit peeved. :(

Cheers - Phil

Yes had to take off a lot! Not building any mdf again anytime  soon  ;D

Luckily that were all the kits i had lying around!

Yeah poor construction makes it really hard to put MDF together, maybe worth you dropping them an email as they may be unaware of the problem

Take care
