Just varnished them and applied texture to the bases. Should be dry tomorrow, so just highlight on thebase and apply some flock and my 3rd force should be finished!

So, as promised, the pirates have been finished. Painted them up as two groups, black "team" and "green" team, to easily distinguish them when playing pirate vs pirate. They all have one piece of clothing painted in the team colour.

black team

green team

The dual wielding girl is actually an elf pirate, but painted her up togheter with the rest.

So,adding 20 models means:  62 models painted and three forces done:

1) pirates   20
2) privateers 10
3) British forces to battle the pirates 19
4) bolt action USMC  33-4 done
5) bolt action IJA 33-4 done
6) bolt action germans 21
7) bolt action US airborne 30
8 ) deadzone marauder warband 8-9?
9) deadzone plague zombies mob 30
10) unknown

On to the next force! With 10 months left and only 7 forces more to be done, i'm pretty confident i'll make it, although i had a game of napoleonic wargaming last night, and the emperor is calling me to paint more infantry!

Nice work, Peter. Lot's of fun figures. The distaff section is particularly well-clevaged!  ;)
Incidently the guy in the long coat leveling the brace of pistols looks like the prototypical highwayman - like it!
Encumbered by Idjits, we pressed on

Good idea doing the two 'teams' :)

So what's next :-

Alot of bolt action probably, but might sneak in a few napoleonics before i start them. Depends on what i need first!
