As the end of the year approaches we'll be reviewing what we achieved during the past 12 months, as well as getting our plans ready for 2018.  We'll have those posted up for everyone after Christmas, but in the meantime I thought it would be interesting to see how everyone else managed?

Did you get that new army completed, find the time to fit in more gaming, or did real life get in the way?  And have you got any new projects in mind for 2018?

I've got a few more days to go yet, but will do my annual review then. Interesting for me to look back on my plans for the year and what I have, or more likely haven't, achieved.

Despite having stopped 4 months in summer I am happy because I have had your recognition of my work. At the moment I am preparing a scenario of the American Civil War, I have to finish the English caravan in Sudan. As a next project I painted Napoleon's Russians and then I will think about it. Maybe I'll get to paint Spanish Napoleon or expand Austrian 1809. The idea is to prepare a good job for the 2018 contest. :) :) :)

I don't really set goals, as I work as time allows, and as I feel inclined, since I usually turn out awful workif I'm not in the mood for it. I did complete  several projects though, and made great progress on others.

Completed

Green Men of Mars
Post Apocalyptic Law army
Post Apocalyptic Road Warrior Stronghold (thanks to the painting contest)
Seven elements finished for my Tsar Paul I army
Kirin and Lady Snowblood for my Ninja army
Weird War US Hollywood army
Weird War Red Skull army
Weird War WWI US army
Weird War WWI German army
Halloween army
Six elements of 10 MM ACW figures.

Progress Made

Lord Brooks Regiment of Foote (ECW)
Additional elements of my Tsar Paul I army
Post Apocalyptic Law Stronghold
Weird War WWI Stronghold

Plus I am sure there are some other little bits I am not remembering right now. However, for me I feel it has been a very productive year. The one thing I've not gotten to do is as much gaming as I would ahve liked. But the game days were not always good for my schedule, so had to miss some.

I didn't get much done because real life got in the way, but at least I made a good start on building my 10mm ECW and 15mm Dux B. collections.  :)

At the moment everything has been in storage for the last nine weeks due to the House Move from Hell.  :(
