Facings and turnbacks started, too hot to paint 26 degrees C (79F) #:-S

Worked on a scenario for Jericho in February 1918 instead

Already mid 20s C so time to stop painting and do some other things

Facings and turnbacks finished :)
Musket stocks done  :)

Prepared bases for next couple of lots of troops and started painting them, both sides done & one coat of the edges on half of them :)

Scenario for Jericho in February 1918 nearly finished  :)
Reasonable progress on the wadis, need cooler temperatures while adding the caulking compound

Know the problem. We're having a heat wave here, too. Currently around 3 degrees here in rainy Scotland.

A bit cooler at work as aircon works well here.

Hope those Mk IVs turn up if we're assaulting  trenches ☺

Some heavy showers cooled things down enough for me to do the musket barrels :)
But heating up again #:-S
Finished painting first half of the bases for next couple of lots of troops & first coat of the edges on second half done :)

The Mk IVs (8 Mk Is with 3 Mk IV replacements, I believe) have been left far behind ;)
I really should put a Second Gazza scenario together so the tanks get a run, probably near "Jack & Jill", perhaps at Easter ;)

Don't worry the Turks probably haven't had time to wire their position, assuming you get to be British #:-S :-SS

Hmmm, last night was a tad windy and wet, with the river Avon bursting it's banks in a few places. At least I'll have a tail wind home tonight :)
