Very nicely done, Paul. Wonderful attention to detail.  :-bd
You and Mollinary both use great labeling systems - must seriously consider this approach.
And there is Arnold in his "turned coat" - a fine and capable soldier about whom I feel a great deal of ambivalence - lots of "if onlys".  :-\  :(
Thanks for providing the who's who.  :)
Encumbered by Idjits, we pressed on

Terrific Paul ! :-bd

Arnold must have had an 'interesting' time in Virginia, Lt. Col. Thomas Dundas and Lt. Col. John Simcoe, his two immediate subordinates carried orders from Sir Henry Clinton relieving him of command that they could use whenever they thought appropriate

Lafayette had orders from Washington to hang him if he was captured

I really find the research enjoyable, the connections can be fascinating.

Lafayette's father was killed at the Battle of Minden by British cannon ball. Major General William Phillips who took over command from Arnold was a an artillery officer at Minden.
His last words as he died of either typhus or malaria while the house he was in was bombarded by Lafayette's artillery are reputed to be "Won't that boy let me die in peace?"[

With our group playing a number of different rule sets across multiple periods good labeling helps keep track of who is who and means all the key info is readily available
It really speeds up play and doesn't intrude too much
