[Smoking gun]

This is a K-Line "O" scale model railway building bought from the US when the exchange was much better. Painted with a Humbrol matt black undercoat and then dry brushed with various craft and emulsion tester paints. Ground work is smooth Polytex ceiling texture and fine sand.
