I'm chuffed to see that something is gonna change, but whether it's good news or not, I'm not sure.  He's left voluntarily, so no compo, which is a huge bonus, but these are 'his' players, and I don't know if they're going to want to play for someone else.  If Mowbray comes in, how will that be taken by the dressing room?  Half of them would have been at Celtic when he took over from Strachan, so might not be too keen on working for him again.

I worry that we simply don't have the players to go in a positive direction.  There is absolutely no creativity in the whole team, and until that changes, we won't see the benefits of having the SPL's top goal-poacher up front.

I have to point out that many years ago i was queuing for a pub lunch in Leeds when GS walked in, pushed straight to the front of the queue and got the last bit of lasagne. Even if he had taken us to promotion and currently had us in a champions league position i'm afraid i would always know him as a short-arsed lasagne thief. As it is i can now think of him simply as a useless, unemployed, short-arsed lasagne thief.

I'm not convinced.  Why would the players play for him and not Strachan?  He binned half of them when he was at Celtic, that can't generate a good working environment.  But I also couldn't see who else would be a better appointment.  Maybe someone like Curbishley, but he didn't seem to be throwing his hat into the ring, so we'll have see what happens I suppose.

The good thing is that it should reignite a lot of peoples passion, and get the gates back up.
