Well that's an option, but too many 28's that need to be done! Had our first game of bolt action with the group on Thursday, wich was very well received. So after the nappies, I think I will be straight to the marines and Japanese army!

Should start thinking about next year as well. Think I'll make the challenge 500 models next year. I'm almost out of baby nappy time in the afternoon, so I'll be losing a lot of painting time

Just finished the horses for the British light dragoons, so looks like those will be up next!

Good stuff on alll that - especially the casualty markers! Good luck when the wee one is toddling, chances of painting anything are slim

You'll be lucky, that hour or two will likely be spent undoing the mayhem caused whilst the wee one is awake

So yesterday was promising, I did all the red on the light dragoons, and had started painting the shakos and details..

....and ended up behind the pc, ordering some "supplies".

Ordered a mounted napoleon and soult from Perry
Some washes and paints
12 more baseplates and flock from ziterdes to make more wood/jungle area bases.

Will try again later

So the Napoleon mini is what, 3mm on your 10mm army?

Got the light dragoons finished!

1st light dragoons of the Kings German Legion by Perry miniatures:

I always have spares from the perry/warlord boxes, so i just put them in the assembly/painting line when i make the unit, and put them aside.If i ever want to do napoleonic skirmish, or am a model shor for a unit, i just have to take them from the pile!

So adding 14 to the total:  894 models finished!!
