Scratchbuilding a devoted FFL fort for the recently-painted army. The job's about half done, and I think it may turn out quite reasonable. I fear I may have to pass on crenellations for the walls, sadly, but though they look good they were clearly far from universal.

Got any pinking shears, those give you nice tirangular crenellations.

I used pinking shears to make the crenellations for my Sumerian City.

Chopped grey board into 10mm wide strips with my guillotine and then snipped down the middle with the shears - Hey Presto! - two strips of crenellations.

Fort Soixant-neuf, WIP. It may be that sections of clipped matchstick can be glued onto the walls, then plastered to match the rest, and there will be suitable embrasures for dead legionnaires to be propped up in.
